The Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc) partnered with Buffalo Trace Distillery to create this batch of Straight Rye Whiskey.

Buffalo Trace distilled this Kosher spirit from the same high-quality grains as their other straight rye whiskeys and aged it in specially designated Kosher barrels. To meet Passover requirements, a non-Jewish executive purchased these barrels in a ceremony witnessed by a cRc representative.

After aging for seven years, they bottled this Straight Rye Whiskey at 47% ABV.

Before bottling, they thoroughly cleaned the lines to ensure no contact with non-Kosher spirits. Released each year after Passover, this Straight Rye Whiskey is bold and brash, honoring the spirit of America’s oldest continually operating distillery.
