Bushmills 16 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Bushmills, the world’s oldest licenced whiskey distillery, lies on the northern coast of Ireland. It received its licence to distill in 1608, and since then, it has maintained a rich history.

For over 400 years, Bushmills has upheld the tradition of crafting whiskey. Each generation has passed down its expertise and craftsmanship.

One of their notable creations is the Bushmills 16 Year Old whiskey. Crafted from single malts aged for a minimum of 16 years in carefully chosen Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, it stands out.

To enhance its flavour profile, it undergoes an additional maturation process in port pipes for up to a year.

This triple casking not only enriches the whiskey’s colour, turning it into a captivating ruby red, but also infuses it with layers of succulent sun-ripened dark fruit and berries.

Hints of complex almond nuttiness and a delightful treacly vanilla spice are also waiting to be discovered.
