Château d’Esclans Garrus Rosé is a rich, luxurious and gastronomic rosé wine from the world-famous producers of Whispering Angel.
Located in the heart of Côtes de Provence, 40 kilometres north of the coast above Saint-Tropez, Château D’Esclans consists of 140 hectares of vineyards.
Garrus is made from Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino) grapes exclusively from the Vineyards of Chateau d’Esclans, a high concentration of which come from a single parcel of nearly 100-year-old Grenache Vines. Harvesting is conducted in the morning to keep the crop fresh. Then, the grapes are sorted on arrival at the winery.
Next is soft crushing followed by temperature reduction to lock in freshness and vivacity. The wine – made exclusively from free run juice – is vinified exclusively in 600-litre temperature-controlled oak barrels, with battonage, over an eleven-month period prior to bottling.
Enjoy Château d’Esclans Garrus Rosé alongside fish, white meats and delicately spiced dishes.
Tasting Notes
