Clos de Lôm Isidra is a lively and approachable Spanish red offering bright, red-fruit aromas and flavours, with a lively acidity.
Clos de Lôm is a family run winery operating since 1836. They aim to express the quality and geographic uniqueness of the Valley dels Alforins.
Their wines exclusively utilise grapes from DO Valencia. These display a superior quality worthy of the name.
The producers selected the best Garnacha and Tempranillo grapes for the production of this wine. The harvest is manual, early in the morning to avoid high temperatures and possible oxidation.
Following vinification, the wine aged separately in new 300 litre French and American oak barrels. After a minimum of 12 months of ageing, the final blend is created, then it remains for a minimum of six months in the bottle.
Enjoy this delightful red wine with red meats, stews, grilled pork or smoked cheeses. Serve at room temperature.
With a bright and deep ruby colour, Clos de Lôm Isidra at first shows a significant and open nose, combining perfectly the ripe red fruit with the nuances of new wood.
It brings back memories of aromatic herbs. Elegant palate, velvety, well-balanced and polished tannins. Lively acidity and then a very persistent finish.
