Cotswolds Harvest Series Amber Meadow Single Malt Whisky is a limited edition single malt which embodies the light, fruity, and irresistible qualities of the Cotswolds spirit.
The Harvest Series is released once a year and celebrates the beautiful landscapes of the Cotswolds. Each bottle takes inspiration by the wide range of fine whiskies in the distillery’s warehouse, and by the Cotswolds’ serene landscape. Limited to just 1,500 bottles, Amber Meadow is a rare expression. It aims to showcase the distillery’s light and fruity house style.
Crafted using the finest Moscatel casks and complemented by premium ex-Bourbon casks, it delivers a harmonious blend of fruitiness, vanilla, then a subtle hint of peat smokiness. The accompanying artwork by renowned Cotswolds artist Lucy Pratt perfectly reflects this.
Dan Szor, a native New Yorker and whisky connoisseur, founded the Cotswolds Distillery in 2013. It crafted the first whisky ever made in the region. They craft their spirits using traditional methods and the highest-quality raw ingredients. Only locally grown barley forms their mash bill. It’s double distilled for an extra fruity flavour, then bottled onsite. This expression is a particularly robust 51.6% ABV.
