Craigellachie is the rock at the heart of Speyside, yet is anything but your typical ‘Speyside’ whisky. Considered old fashioned even in 1891, its fruity, muscular flavour stems from the use of worm tub condensers. It is this full, yet aromatic, character that defies expectations.

Craigellachie 13 Year Old is initially matured in a mixture of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. 50% of the ‘blend’ is then finished in first-fill Sherry casks, the rest in first-fill Bourbon.

All Craigellachie expressions are non-chill filtered, contain no caramel colouring and are bottled at 46% ABV.

Aromas of oozing toasted marshmallows, fire-roasted pineapples and baked apples studded with cloves, with the tang of cordite lingering in the background.

A robust, muscular whisky with hoards of exotic fruits – a malt that defies the typical Speyside characteristic.
