Cremorne Gentleman Badger’s Sloe Gin is a beautifully fruity and wintry English sloe gin. Perfect for sipping neat and cocktails alike, we’re sure you’ll love it.
This acts as a companion to Colonel Fox’s London Dry Gin – which forms the base for this classic English liqueur. It is made by macerating fresh slow berries in gin and adding cane sugar. This lifts the flavours and balances the resulting mixture. This gin is fruity, spicy and delicately sweet.
Artist Charlotte Cory designed the label, which shows Colonel Fox’s longtime friend and associate the eponymous Gentleman Badger. It is not known how the latter enjoyed his drink – but we submit that its quality speaks for itself (and Gentleman Badger’s impeccable taste).
The Cremorne 1859 brand which makes this delicious tipple is a collaboration between Richard Herbert and Stuart Ekins, co-founders of CASK Liquid Marketing, and Charlotte. 1859 references the date of the publication of Charles Darwin’s ‘Origin of Species’, hence the Victorian-attired animals on the labels.
Enjoy Cremorne Gentleman Badger’s Sloe Gin neat over ice as a delicious winter warmer. You could also try it in a Sloe Gin Fizz cocktail. Simply mix sloe gin with sugar syrup, lemon, and top it off with sparkling water.
