Founded in 1588, Croft is the oldest firm still active today as a Port wine producer. The company is renowned above all for its Vintage Ports.
2007 was an outstanding vintage for port production. Croft’s wines tend to be flattering earlier in their lives and are lusciously fruit driven. This is a wine that will cellar for decades in the right conditions gradually taking on layers of tobacco, and leather, and spice to complement the dense plummy and blackcurrant fruit in the wine.
