Dating back to 1413 on the land registry and ranked as a Tokaji first growth from 1732, Disznoko is known for producing top Tokaji. From years of dedication, the winery has crafted its own style of Tokaji wines – the legendary sweet white wines of Hungary.
Made from indigenous varieties Furmint (90%), Zeta (7%) and Harslevelu (3%) from grapes affected by the Noble Rot Botrytis Cinerea and aged for 6 months in oak barrels.
This is a great intorduction to the Tokaj region and the famous sweet wines. Fresh plums, nectarine, mango on the nose with spicy hints. Very fresh attack, with a rich pallet, very good acidity and a long, salivating finish.
