Domaine Boingneres 1972 is a delightful long-aged vintage armagnac from Domaine Boingneres. They distinguish themselves not only by bottling at natural strength but also by releasing single grape variety armagnacs.
Domaine Boignieres produces fine brandies from grapes grown on some of Bas Armagnac’s best soils. This 1972 vintage brandy is selected from spirits that Martine – the cellar mistress and proprietor – has deemed fine enough to mature by themselves without being blended across vintages.
This expression was bottled in June 2016.
Expect tobacco, spice, earth, and dried fruit characteristics from this armagnac – along with a pronounced nose and a palate that shows intensity and some tannin. Full-bodied, robust and spicy.
Enjoy Domaine Boingneres 1972 with a rich and flavourful dish like guinea fowl. It also shines alongside caramelised and chocolate-based desserts.
