Jérôme and Gaëlle both worked in the wine world before starting their own vineyard, Jérôme as vineyard manager of a domaine in the Côte de Beaune and
Gaëlle was in charge of a wine laboratory. They have bought various parcels of land in and around Mercurey over the years and in 2007 bottled their first vintage under their own label. In 2011 after another winemaker retired they took over 4 hectares of vines in Puligny-Montrachet to complete their estate.
The grapes for this wine come from Nosroyes and Petites Nosroyes on the Meursault side of Puligny. The grapes are hand harvested and after pressing the juice is left to settle for a few days then put into French oak barrels (30% new).
Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.
