Domaine Sylvain Dussort Meursault Le Limozin 2023 is a delightfully rich and smooth white Burgundy from one of the Cote d’Or’s finest communes.
The domaine is operated by a long line of winemakers. Today the estate consists of six hectares of classic Burgundy varieties, including the Chardonnay that makes this delightful wine. The grapes for this Meursault comes from one of the best-located plots in the village, surrounded by the premier crus “Les Charmes” and “Les Genevrières”.
Hand-picking is followed by ageing in barrels on the lees for 12 to 14 months. Racking off and bottling takes place at 16 to 18 months, depending on the vintage. The extended aging in tank before bottling happens over winter and stabilises the wine as well as adding complexity.

Producer’s Tasting Notes
Elegant, subtly oaked. Notes of crushed anise, hazelnut, and a plethora of floral wisps. The caressing middleweight flavors display a quite fine texture while exuding a subtle minerality. This adds a sense of lift to the balanced, clean, dry and more complex finale. It will also age beautifully for up to 10 years to allow for the development of complex honeyed notes.
