Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera Reserve is a rich, smooth, sherried whisky from one of Speyside’s most famous distilleries.
Glenfiddich were pioneers of malt whisky and produced the first official bottling from a single distillery in 1964, creating an entirely new category.
The 15 Year Old Solera reserve is matured in oak previously used to store bourbon and sherry. The whisky alchemists at the distillery also employed something they call the Solera Vat, inspired by Portuguese and Spanish sherry bodegas.
This whisky shows honey, burnt caramel and stewed currants as well as toffee apples and sweet spice.
