This single malt matures gracefully for fifteen years in hand-selected American oak ex-bourbon casks. Then thirty per cent sees three additional years in Oloroso sherry casks. At maturation’s close, these two components reunite in a final marriage, producing extraordinary depth and complexity.
The colour glows with honeyed-gold radiance. On the nose, you find spicy and caramelised citrus fruits entwined with a complex floral bouquet. Honeysuckle, narcissus and jasmine threads weave gently with dried-fruit sweetness and delicate spice.
Tasting reveals a soft and oily texture. You savour rich figs, succulent dates and gentle spices with a whisper of smoke. The palate entwines sweet dried fruits with subtle dryness from Oloroso sherry. The long, enticing finish lingers with nutty and sherried echoes.
