Gran Centenario Reposado is an ultra premium Mexican tequila with a deep and balanced flavour profile.
Since 1857, award-winning Gran Centenario tequila has been crafted in small batches in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The brand’s founder and first master tequila distiller, Lazaro Gallardo, named his tequila to commemorate the turn of the century. The brand is still family-owned today.
Their 100% agave tequilas still undergo the proprietary “Selección Suave” process established by their founder, which adds older tequila reserves to the blend to achieve extraordinary smoothness and complexity.
Gran Centenario tequila is slowly cooked and crafted in small batches using the finest blue agave plants aged up to eight years. The agave steam bakes in brick and stone cooking ovens to extract as much flavour as possible.
Rested in new French oak casks, resulting in the perfect balance of taste and smoothness, this Reposado provides a touch of fruit on the nose, with sweet tones of cooked agave and light hints of oak, toasted almonds, vanilla, and clove. The long, smooth finish offers notes of light, spicy pepper.
Enjoy Gran Centenario Reposado neat or as part of your favourite tequila-based cocktails. It’s particularly good in a Paloma.
