This is a special bottling of an 18 year old whisky made at Highland Park and bottled at cask strength. It was made in a limited edition of 3300 bottles. The bottling is in a series that makes reference to Earl Haakon – a viking who conspired to assassinate Earl Magnus. The latter Viking was a ruler on Orkney – where Highland Park is distilled – and his bones were discovered in the 1920s at the cathedral in Kirkwall. It is very delicious and highly collectable.
