This whiskey is part of the Jameson Caskmates Series, where whiskeys meet Irish craft beer seasoned barrels.
Jameson is a blended Irish whiskey, produced at the Midleton Distillery, in Midleton, Co. Cork since 1780. It is a marriage of the best of pot still and fine grain whiskeys, and everything is triple-distilled.
Barley in Jameson’s whiskey grows across Ireland, and the water they blend it with comes from the Dungourney river, which flows right through their distillery. All their whiskey then spends a minimum of three years maturing in barrels on the island of Ireland.
Enjoy Jameson Irish Whiskey Caskmates IPA Edition with mixers like ginger ale, tonic water and soda water. Citrus juices like lemon or grapefruit can enhance its unique profile.
Nose: Floral, herbal hops, grapefruit citrus notes with subtle orchard fruits, complemented by wood shavings and a little nuttiness.
Palate: Hops and light citrus with sweet herbal notes and delicate spicy tones.
Finish: The lingering fresh fruit and hops give way to grains of barley and a signature smooth finish.
