Both expressions come from Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery, one of Campbeltown’s most distinctive whisky producers.
The Kilkerran 16 Year Old 2026 Release delivers depth, complexity and exceptional character after 16 years of maturation.
The 2026 release matured entirely in sherry casks, creating a rich and expressive single malt.
Its nose combines tobacco leaf and tomato leaf with rhubarb, blackberries and orange.
The palate reveals chocolate mousse, Medjool dates, brown sugar and blackcurrants.
Mint leaf, salted raisins, hazelnut dark chocolate and subtle ash create a long, refreshing finish.
Kilkerran 12 Year Old offers a younger and vibrant expression of the distillery’s distinctive Campbeltown style.
It combines 70% bourbon cask maturation with 30% sherry casks for a balanced and complex character.
Sweet aromas of Turkish delight, pear drops and marzipan lead into subtle peat smoke.
The palate brings lemon cheesecake, citrus zest, leather, peppery spice and sticky toffee pudding.
Campfire embers, pecan pie and butterscotch provide a satisfying finish with gentle smoky depth.
Together, these two whiskies showcase how Kilkerran develops complexity through age and maturation.
The 12 Year Old provides freshness and energy, while the 16 Year Old adds richness and depth.
