KinGlassie RAW is a delicious, brand-new heavily peated Fife single malt Scotch whisky, made at the InchDairnie Distillery.
100% Fife barley is double distilled and double condensed, resulting in more copper contact to achieve a refined spirit, all while saving energy.
Using peat from St Fergus in Aberdeenshire, the creation of KinGlassie allows a chunky smoky flavour to come through, but at the same time working in perfect balance with the rich distillery character. Peatiness is measured in Phenols Parts per Million or ppm and KinGlassie is high on the scale at a punchy 50 ppm.
Unlike its double-matured sister whisky, this KinGlassie Raw skips the finishing stage entirely. It aged for the full eight years in American oak bourbon casks. The producers describe it as “untamed” with a hit like a smouldering fireplace and a complex malt core. Less polish, more punch.
Enjoy KinGlassie RAW neat or on the rocks to fully unlock its complex flavour profile. It also shines in quirky twists on classic whisky-forward cocktails.

Colour: Almond Brown.
Aroma: Smoke and tobacco with rich layers of almonds and nuts.
Flavour: The nuttiness and velvet wrapped smoke perfectly balances with a lovely long char-filled chewiness.
