Kokotos ‘Agrimi’ Roditis-Savatiano is a refreshing Greek wine made using a blend of indigenous grape varieties.

Kokotos is an exceptional wine destination close to Athens. Founded in the late 1970s, the Kokotos family chose to create a model vineyard, cultivating both indigenous and international varieties through organic farming. A favourable microclimate also ensures excellent fruit production. Today, they receive visits from wine lovers all over the world.

This dry white wine is made using a blend of the varieties Roditis 60% and Savatiano 40% from  vineyards in the wider area of Stamata and Erythres, Attica.

Winemakers handpick the grapes and transport them in small crates. They spend the night in cold storage. From there, they are crushed, de-stemmed and then gently pressed in our Bucher pneumatic press. Static debourbage follows and alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, for approximately 15 days, at controlled temperatures of 16-18°C. Sur lie for 2 months.

This wine is bright lemon in colour, with green highlights. It has an intense floral profile on the nose, with aromas of citrus fruits and apricot. It is elegant on the palate, with crisp acidity and then a long finish.

Enjoy Kokotos ‘Agrimi’ Roditis-Savatiano with vegetable pies, pasta with light white sauce, seafood risotto and grilled fish.
