Laphroaig distillery was established in 1815 on the Isle of Islay and is renowned for its heavy peat influence. Today, it keeps the whisky-making traditions of the region alive.
Aged for ten years and finished in sherry casks, this unique Laphroaig expression combines the unforgettable flavour of this distillery’s classic 10 year old whisky with the sweetness and complexity of Oloroso. Distillers hand-select each sherry oak cask to create a truly exceptional single malt.Notes of Manuka honey, grilled bacon and maple syrup meet the classic peat smoke and seaweed that Laphroaig is famous for.
After finishing, producers choose to bottle it at 48% ABV so it retains a robust character.
