Maestro Dobel Diamante is the first ever cristalino. Created in 2008, at the time, it defied all logic, blending Reposado with Añejo and Extra Añejo tequilas.
“Cristalinos”. These are aged tequilas that have been filtered to remove any colour added by the barrel during the aging process, leaving the tequila “crystal clear”, like a blanco.
Made with 100% pure agave and formulated using a blend of Extra-Añejo, Añejo and Reposado tequilas, this exceptional tequila is unique.
After the tequila has completed its aging process, it goes through a proprietary filtration process. This allows the producers to selectively remove the colour, while preserving the tequila’s complexity and smoothness.
Sip it or add it to classic tequila-based cocktails like a Margarita.
Producer’s Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright and clear tequila with touches of silver and an exceptional body, which stems from high-quality agave.
Nose: An outstanding mix of aromas are released from the wood and agave, including buttery notes of caramel, honey and maple, as well as nutty and fruity notes, a touch of cinnamon, almond and a slight hint of smokiness.
Palate: A complex mix of sweet flavours – caramel, honey and maple as well as nutty and vanilla notes.
Finish: An indescribable smoothness and a long finish that leaves you wanting more.
