Marc Brédif Chinon is a fruity, refined red Cabernet Franc wine produced in the Loire region of France.

The Baron de Ladoucette owns and operates Marc Brédif, the wine’s producer. The key to any de Ladoucette wine is quality in the vineyard, the winery and the bottle.

The Baron de Ladoucette focuses on maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout his portfolio. The wines are made in the state-of-the art winery within the landmark Château du Nozet and are considered to be some of the finest examples of their type.

The grapes for the Marc Brédif Chinon grow in the northern part of the Chinon area, in Savigny-en-Véron. The vineyards are principally gravelly and have mostly north and south sun exposure.

This Cabernet Franc wine is fermented and pumped over the skins for 15 days prior to undergoing malolactic fermentation in vat and storage in stainless steel to retain freshness before bottling.

Enjoy Marc Brédif Chinon with lamb chops, beef carpaccio, or game meats like pheasant.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

This bright ruby red wine has intense, refined and fruity aromas. There are nuances of cherry, strawberry and also some spicy notes. In the mouth, it has a subtle attack and a fruity, light structure. There is then a fresh and aromatic finish, with hints of a toasty vanilla quality.
