Metaxa 12 Stars is a creation of the fifth Metaxa master, Constantinos Raptis. Since 1888, the House of Metaxa has been on a journey to offer one of the smoothest and most pleasurable amber spirits under the sun.
It is a combination of fine wine distillates matured in oak casks for up to 12 years and Muscat wines selected exclusively from terraced vineyards of Samos. The time spent in the heavily toasted casks brings out more pronounced oaky and smoky notes to the distillates and, ultimately, to the spirit.
A noble varietal, Muscat has been yielding wines of the highest aromatic concentration since Antiquity. The Metaxa Master chooses the finest Muscats to blend with his aged distillates. This therefore creating the signature smoothness of the brandy.
It is bottled at 40% ABV. It displays signature flavours of toffee, vanilla, citrus fruit and dried fruit, with a spicy kick.
Enjoy Metaxa 12 Stars as a delightful digestif on ice, or mix into cocktails like a classic Brandy Sour.

Colour: Radiant amber.
Nose: Orange peel, coffee, chocolate, and toasted oak.
Palate: Dried fruit, orange peel, and hints of spices.
Finish: Long and aromatic with hints of orange peel and then spices.
