Oban is a distillery with a relatively small production (the second-smallest). It is located on the west coast of Scotland and some say that this imparts a brine or sea salt characteristic to the whisky.
A Highland malt with one foot on the islands.
Tasting notes:

Nose: Rich sweetness and fruits – oranges, lemons and pears, with sea-salt and peaty smokiness
Body: A full, rich, almost oily malt
