Punt e Mes is produced by the makers of Antica Formula and is a textbook introduction to fine, spiced, aromatised, and aged white-wine-based vermouths. A classic.
Created back in 1870, this delicious vermouth is still the same today as it was then: balanced yet refreshingly herbal. It takes its name from an Italian stockbroking term but this lovely tipple is anything but staid and sensible.
Enjoy as part of a negroni, or simply neat over ice.
Producer’s Tasting Notes
Dark red in color with vermilion veins, Punt e Mes is characterised by hints of aromatic herbs, cinchona, and cloves. The taste, initially sweet and enriched by an intriguing hint of orange peel, evolves into the bitterness of cinchona and closes on a sweet note again.
