Royal Brackla 18 Year Old is a creamy and fruity Highland single malt whisky from one of Scotland’s oldest distillers. It was founded in 1812 and has consistently produced exemplary whisky ever since.
Royal Brackla was the first Scotch whisky ever granted a Royal Warrant, by King William IV in 1833. It stands proudly on the Cawdor Estate, a historic residence linked with Shakespeare’s Macbeth, and operates at a capacity of 4,000,000 litres a year. This latest expression demonstrates why they still deserve the royal title!
The distillery’s style is opulent and fruity with rich sherried notes. Every expression of Royal Brackla finishes maturation in the finest first-fill sherry casks. They source them directly from Spain to ensure an opulent outcome for a noble drink.
This 18 Year old finishes maturation in first fill Palo Cortado sherry casks. This provides a luscious, juicy character but also notes of spicy oak.

Nose: Spiced biscuits, vanilla cream, and a whiff of orange zest.
Palate: Soft, succulent peaches and plums, juicy raisins, and soaked sultanas combine with sweet, cakey spice and hints of bitter chocolate.
Finish: Apricot and oak with sweet, fruity zest then creamy barley.
