Spirit Hound American Single Malt Whisky is a delightfully smooth whisky from a boutique distillery based in Colorado, USA.
This whisky is 100% Colorado from grain to glass: Spirit Hound’s flagship product. Made with barley that is both grown and malted in Alamosa, Colorado, Spirit Hound adds a Scottish twist by including a small percentage of peated malt. It then ages for two years in charred American oak barrels.
As with all their spirits, the folks at Spirit Hound use fresh Rocky Mountain snowmelt water to cut the proof. The whisky is bottled as a single barrel – they don’t do any blending.

Producer’s Tasting Notes
Nose: Green apple, sweet vanilla, and toasted sugar.
Palate: Sarsaparilla, brown sugar, sometimes almonds or pecans, rich & coating mouthfeel.
Finish: Cinnamon, smoky exhale.
