Vazisubani Estate 3 Qvevri Amber is a delicious Georgian white wine made in the traditional “qvevri” method using indigenous grape varietals Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane and Kisi.
The qvevri method uses large clay vessels buried underground, where wines ferment and age on their skins and lees. This natural, time-honoured process gives white wines their distinctive amber hue and textured depth.
Across 35 hectares of estate vineyards, the owners of Vazisubani Estate cultivate indigenous grape varieties rooted in a terroir known for its distinctive character.
Each spring, they draw the wines from the qvevri for the first time, bottling them with minimal intervention, true to the land and tradition of the Kakheti region.
Producer’s Tasting Notes
The colour is medium amber. The wines displays notes of citrus, tropical fruits and apricots.
Vazisubani Estate 3 Qvevri Amber is excellent with marine dishes, poultry, white meat, and cheese. It is also a wine which shines on its own.
