Albert Bichot Viré-Clessé is an elegant white wine from Burgundy, specifically from the Maconnais sub-region.

The wine comes from vineyards in the villages of Viré and Clessé. These gained their own appellation in 1999, highlighting the region’s unique terroir and winemaking traditions.

Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, Viré-Clessé thrives in the clay-limestone soils of the Maconnais. The warm climate of the region allows the grapes to ripen perfectly, resulting in wines that are both rich and well-balanced. The combination of soil and climate gives this wine its distinctive character, blending freshness with complexity.

In appearance, Albert Bichot’s Viré-Clessé has a pale golden hue with greenish tints, hinting at its freshness and vibrancy.
