Green Chartreuse VEP is a premium, aged version of the iconic Green Chartreuse, the historic herbal liqueur made by Carthusian monks in the French Alps.
The term VEP stands for Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé (Exceptionally Prolonged Ageing), highlighting its extended maturation process and exceptional craftsmanship.
Green Chartreuse VEP comes in an elegant, wax-sealed bottle modelled after the original design used by the monks.
Each bottle is individually numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity, underscoring its artisanal and exclusive nature. The minimalist label complements its heritage and mystique.
Herbal depth: Over 130 botanicals contribute to its medicinal, aromatic character, including sage, anise, and juniper.
Sweet and spicy: Layers of honey, caramelised sugar, and warm spices add complexity.
Refreshing coolness: Mint and eucalyptus provide a cooling counterpoint to the liqueur’s warmth.
Barrel-aged notes: Subtle hints of oak, vanilla, and toasted almonds from its extended time in French oak barrels.
The extended ageing process smooths and integrates these flavours, resulting in a velvety, harmonious taste with a long, warming finish.
Produced in limited quantities, Green Chartreuse VEP is a collector’s item and a must-try for connoisseurs. The Carthusian monks’ centuries-old recipe and careful ageing process make it a truly exceptional and luxurious liqueur.
