Hine XO Premier Cru Cognac is a beautifully smooth and fruity brandy, made from grapes grown in some of Cognac’s finest vineyards.
The Grande Champagne region, known as the Premier Cru of Cognac, provides the grapes. Hine’s expertise ensures that the original, delicate flavour reaches your glass intact.
They utilise a blend of eaux-de-vié from Grande and Petite Champagne grapes. The House of Hine distils its white wines twice, exclusively on their lees: suspended in the wine, these fine solid particles – remnants of the grape skin and fermentation yeasts – provide the newly formed eau de vie with rich and concentrated aromas.
The delicate Hine style is further asserted by the rigorous selection of moderately toasted fine-grained French oak casks, accentuating the fine, fruity notes so distinct from the standard woody aromas.
Enjoy Hine XO Premier Cru Cognac neat or with splash of water to fully unlock its complex flavour profile. It also shines with a medium-bodied cigar like a Montecristo.
Hine XO offers fresh orange, ginger, and cinnamon aromas on the nose. It boasts a lovely floral essence with a sweet honey flavour on the palate. It also reveals a fresh ginger taste and subtle hints of wild pepper.
