Bumbu XO is a vibrant, fruity yet warming Panamanian rum from one of the region’s finest distillers.
This small-batch special release XO rum is distilled from molasses and local sugar cane and aged in Panama at a distillery dating back more than 120 years. It is a truly unique and unquestionably superior product. A smooth, rich and complex handcrafted rum created from scratch by the company’s master distiller.
This XO is aged up to 18 years in white oak bourbon barrels and finished in Spanish white oak sherry casks. This achieves a beautifully balanced, endlessly sippable rum. The producers don’t add any artificial colours or flavours to Bumbu XO Rum. It contains just the best sugarcane, pure spring water and oak.
Aromas of toffee, toasted oak, and vanilla alongside dark treacle give way to orange zest, peppery spice and even a hint of coffee on the palate. The spice and oak accords then remain on the long finish.
