Lété-Vautrain is located to the west of the Champagne winemaking region, which is where the Meunier grape thrives.
Their 7.5 hectare vineyard stretches over the villages of Château-Thierry and d’Essômes-sur-Marne. They also own two historical vineyards in the village of Leuvrigny, next to Épernay, home of Robert Lété and Liliane Vautrain.
This cuvée is made from a majority of Meunier grapes, the favourite grape variety of the Marne Valley, which make it an authentic terroir wine.
Grape blend: 50% Meunier, 25% Chardonnay, and 25% Pinot Noir.
The translucent, deep golden hue gives way to a fresh and elegant first bouquet, followed by succulent notes of peach and apricot. The extremely well-balanced palate is characterised by a complex sensation which is both full-bodied and fresh. Intense notes of apple and peach accompany its beautifully balanced taste. The finish is long with hints of dried fruits.
