Muscat de Rivesaltes is a classic French fortified wine from the Mediterranean area of Roussillon.
Rivesaltes is an area close to the Mediterranean known for its sweet wines made from various varieties of Muscat. In this case, Lauriga only use 100% of the noble sweet grape, Muscat Blanc a Petit Grains.
Floral and fragrant with notes of slightly candied white fleshed fruits. The palate has a nice freshness and a good complexity of ripe fruits with notes of sweet spices. It is a great aperitif, with ‘foie gras’, or with a cake or a cream based dessert.
