Château Perron Lalande-de-Pomerol is a lush, luxurious red Bordeaux wine produced at one of the region’s finest wineries.
Having been in the Massonie family for three generations, Perron is now the responsibility of Bertrand Massonie, whose drive, passion, technical skill and respect for the property’s exceptional terroir have contributed massively to its recent renaissance. The winery is currently in conversion to organic farming.
This is one of the top wines in the appellation and a rising star of the Right Bank.
Grapes: A blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, grown on 36ha of vines, average age 25 years. The grapes are hand-picked and undergo two stages of selection.
This wine then spent 12-18 months ageing in large, conical trunk oak vats. It is drinking beautifully now, but also has cellar aging potential.
The palate is rich, balanced and has a texture of the finest class, as creamy as it is silky and perfectly smooth.

It has a supple, velvety palate with fine, crisply elegant tannins.
