Château Puybarbe is situated at the highest elevation of the Côtes de Bourg appellation overlooking the right bank of the Gironde estuary.

The 41-hectare vineyard comprises predominantly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and is farmed according to sustainable philosophies.

Château Puybarbe uses no herbicides or chemical fertilisers and is both HVE (High Environmental Value) and ISO 14001 certified since 2017.

This full-body wine is a blend from a selection of the winery’s best wines, and aged 18 months in French oak barrels.

Merlot 54% – Cabernet Sauvignon 42%, with small percentages of Malbec and Cabernet Franc.
