Courvoisier V.S. is a youthful and lovely blend of cognac delivering a spectrum of sensations, from oak to flowers.
This is the signature house cognac of Maison Courvoisier, founded in 1828 in Jarnac, the heart of France’s cognac region.
This is a blend of several crus aged between three and seven years, composed primarily of Fins Bois as well as a balancing hand of Petite Champagne. The fusion of younger and older cognacs gives Courvoisier V.S. fruity, delicate taste and a bouquet filled with ripe fruit and spring flowers. Above all, it is energetic and distinctive.
Courvoisier V.S. is delicious with simple mixers like ginger ale and perfect for creating mouth-watering cocktails and punches. Moreover, pair it with aged cheese like comté for a very French pairing.
Appearance: Golden, light amber.
Nose: Rich, fresh and oaky, with the vigour of a young cognac. Spring blossom and fresh fruit notes dominate.
Palate: Intensely aromatic and flavourful, with a fruity delicate taste. Expert cognac makers distill the Bon Bois and Fins Bois without lees, elevating the fruit notes of apple, pear, and grapefruit to the forefront. The spring blossoms burst forth from the distinctive house style of Maison Courvoisier. The Petite Champagne distilled with lees then adds complexity and length to the VS cognac. It’s beautifully balanced with a woody finish.
