Recognised as one of the finest XOs in the world, Courvoisier XO is a very old blend of fine and well matured cognac.
This is a classic fine cognac of Maison Courvoisier, founded in 1828 in Jarnac, the heart of France’s cognac region.
A selection by the master blender of matured eaux de vie, aged from 11 to 25 years, to highlight the complexity and richness of cognac aromas. The signature style of rich fruit XO tasting notes reveals an exquisitely layered blend with an elegant floral finish.
This is intensely aromatic and flavourful, with a velvety texture and aromatic bouquet. It further reveals hints of crème brûlée, candied orange and iris flower.
Courvoisier XO is delicious sipped neat after dinner in a tulip-shaped glass to allow the liquid to breathe. Moreover, pair it with aged blue cheese like Roquefort for a very French pairing which stands up to the richness of the cognac.
Appearance: Golden amber.
Nose: The delicate yet rich fruit notes of fig, raisin, plum, and candied orange display a delightfully layered and matured blend. Hints of crème brûlée, candied orange and iris flower.
Palate: Intensely flavourful, with hints of orange and notes of vanilla and then caramel.
