Dead Man’s Fingers Spiced Rum is a spirit where a blended 2 year old rum meets exotic spices to create a unique and distinctive flavour profile perfect for mixed drinks and punches.
This is the latest instalment in a flavoured series from rum producers Dead Man’s Fingers. They started life as a rum and crab shack in St Ives, Cornwall. Now, however, they craft their rums in a Bristol and Bath-based distillery using a 500-litre double retort still. Spread across four floors, the distillery is also a bar and rum school. There, rum believers can distil their very own take on this excellent beverage.
Those familiar with Saffron cake will certainly find a hint of that alongside notes of Pedro Ximénez ice cream. A whisper of creamy caramel then comes next, followed by vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and subtly sweet undertones of orange. Some have even found notes of pineapple, dried raisins and a pinch of black pepper.
Enjoy Dead Man’s Fingers Spiced Rum with a classic rum mixer like Coca-Cola, or let it take centre stage in a rum-based cocktail. You can even add it to baking recipes like Christmas cake for a spicy twist.
