Domaine Des Crès Ricards Cabernet Sauvignon

Jean-Claude Mas has a talent for discovering exceptional terroirs.

In 2010, he recognised the potential of Terrasses du Larzac. He purchased 27 hectares in Ceyras and expanded it to 42 hectares.

The domaine, established in 1960, sits in Ceyras. It’s nestled in a delta between the Hérault river and the Lergue tributary, surrounded by Mont Baudile and the Rocher des Vierges.

The name “Domaine des Crès Ricards” reflects its rocky landscape. “Crès” in Occitan signifies exposed rocks.

The area features a vast plateau of red earth strewn with galets roulés, or large pudding stones.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon – Pays d’Oc – Protected Geographical Indication

Aged in stainless steel vats; 20% is aged in barrels for 5 months.
