Jérôme and Gaëlle both worked in the wine world before starting their vineyard. Jérôme managed a domaine, Gaëlle ran a wine laboratory.
They bought land around Mercurey and bottled their first vintage in 2007.
Subsequently, in 2011, they expanded their estate by taking over 4 hectares of vines in Puligny-Montrachet following the retirement of another winemaker.
The grapes for this Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru are sourced from a parcel situated atop the hillside in Puligny, just above the 1er Cru Folatière.
Handpicked, the grapes undergo pressing before the juice settles for a few days.
It is then transferred to French oak barrels, with 40% being new. Indigenous yeasts initiate fermentation, and the wine matures for 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.
