Freud Whisky is a liquid homage to Freudenberg, the proud home of Ziegler’s legendary distillery. Freud “Distiller’s Cut” is their first whisky.
It begins its ageing process in chestnut casks and in barrels that were used for maturing bourbon. Afterwards “Distiller’s Cut” mellows further in kegs that held Ziegler Old Plum brandy.
With an alcohol content of 41.5% by volume, “Distiller’s Cut” is a complex yet pleasantly accessible malt whisky that’s equally delightful when sipped “neat” or in mixed drinks.
