Graham’s Late Bottled Vintage Port is a delicious example of an underrated port style.
Whereas Vintage port is kept in barrel for at most 2 years, Late Bottled Vintage ports (LBVs) are left in cask for substantially longer and bottled when they are ready to drink.
Graham’s produce one of the most long-lived Vintage ports (and the most forbidding ports in youth). However, they also happen to produce one of the most approachable LBVs on the market.
Boasting gorgeous floral aromas of rockrose, with hints of pine and eucalyptus, interwoven with pure, bright blackberry and blackcurrant notes, this is a true treat.
Graham’s Late Bottled Vintage Port is a good introduction to fine red port wines.
