Grand Marnier Cuvée Louis-Alexandre is a rich and smooth cognac liqueur with the distinctive taste of bitter oranges which makes Grand Marnier so distinctive.
Created in honour of Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle in 1877, this recipe was inspired by a ritual that Louis-Alexandre was particularly fond of: adding an extra drop of Cognac to his glass of Grand Marnier, to give it a more intense taste.
Grand Marnier liqueur was created in 1880 and has been the iconic spirit of vibrant French lifestyle around the world.
It is made from the unique combination of the finest French cognacs and essence of the exotic Caribbean oranges.
It contains 82% of Cognac.
Enjoy Grand Marnier Cuvée Louis-Alexandre either neat or on the rocks, allowing the complex flavours to unfold on your palate. It also shines in luxurious cocktails such as a Grand Marnier Margarita, pairing aged cognac and fine tequila.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Warm amber with tints of copper and orange.
Aroma: Nose of candied orange with nuances of citrus zests, orange and bergamot essences.
Flavour: Candied orange and macerated citrus fruit flavours are tempered by notes of pine and Earl Grey tea. Very long finish for an intense taste and contemporary experience of the warmth of Grand Marnier liqueur.
