Bianco lo Chardonnay di Nonino Grappa is a pristine, modern grappa distilled solely from fresh Chardonnay pomace. Crafted by the Nonino family, pioneers of artisanal distillation, this spirit captures the essence of Friuli’s winemaking tradition. Distilled in copper steam stills, it reflects an unwavering commitment to purity, precision and regional identity.
Nonino uses only pomace from selected Chardonnay grapes, harvested at peak ripeness. The pomace is distilled within hours to preserve aromatic integrity and freshness. This process avoids any oxidative spoilage, ensuring a grappa that is crisp, clean and vibrant in character.
The distillation takes place in small batches using discontinuous artisanal stills. These steam-operated copper stills allow complete control of temperature and pressure. This guarantees a smooth, elegant result without harshness or bitterness.
Bianco lo Chardonnay is crystal-clear in appearance, reflecting its unaged nature. On the nose, it opens with fragrant floral notes, green apple and hints of pear. A whisper of fresh herbs adds lift and complexity. The bouquet is delicate but distinctive, inviting and bright.
