The Hine Rare VSOP was first blended by the firm’s founder – Mr. Thomas Hine himself. It is a blend of 60% Grande Champagne and 40% Petite Champagne brandies aged between 6 and 12 years.
It consistently delivers an intense, complex, and satisfying cognac with a characteristic lightness to the body that does not compromise the quality of the spirit.
Enjoy Hine Rare VSOP neat in a tulip-shaped glass to really unlock its complex flavour profile. It particularly shines as a digestif.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Gentle hints of violets and jasmine with a rich candied orange character. Spiced.
Palate: Rich palate with notes of marmalade, toffee apples and stem ginger. Hints of rum spice.
Finish: Long mellow finish. Over-ripe grape and oak.
