Janneau XO showcases the heritage and craftsmanship of one of Armagnac’s most respected houses. The master blender selects eaux-de-vie aged between 10 and 25 years to create a spirit of remarkable depth and complexity. Janneau distils its spirit using both single and double distillation, a rare technique in the region.
The distillate rests in French oak casks sourced from Limousin and Gascony. These barrels gently impart structure, spice and mellowed oak character over time. The ageing process takes place in Janneau’s cellars, where temperature and humidity shape the final profile.
Janneau XO greets the nose with aromas of dried fruit, toasted nuts and delicate oak. Notes of fig, orange peel and almond mingle with hints of vanilla and cocoa. As the spirit breathes, floral tones and baking spices emerge with elegance.
