Each batch reflects the distillery’s traditional production methods and distinctive coastal influence.
This Batch is matured in 90% bourbon and with 10% sherry casks. There is no added colour or chill filtering.
The nose opens with fragrant wood smoke, toasted barley and earthy peat. Fresh citrus zest brightens the aroma, while vanilla, green apple and gentle sea salt provide welcome complexity. Subtle herbal notes develop with time in the glass.
The palate delivers rich peat smoke from the first sip. Sweet malt, caramel and creamy vanilla quickly soften the smoky intensity. Flavours of baked apple, lemon peel and cracked black pepper add freshness and spice. Hints of oak, coastal minerals and gentle medicinal notes create impressive depth without overwhelming the spirit.
