Lanzerac Mrs English Single Vineyard Chardonnay is a tribute to the estates founder.
Elizabeth Katherina English bought the farm Schoongezicht in 1920. She subsequently renamed the farm ‘Lanzerac’ and transformed it during her nine years of ownership into one of the most modern wineries in the Cape.
Mrs English Chardonnay is sourced from a single vineyard in the Jonkershoek Valley. It is a complex wine with an abundance of citrus flavours on the nose. It has a full palate and lingering aftertaste.
Great care is taken during the blending process to ensure a wine with impeccable balance, character, poise and deliverance.
